UX+UI Case Study

Project type: Mobile App for IOS

Role:

As the lead UX/UI designer, my role was to create the application from the ground up — from conceptualizing the initial idea to delivering the final design. This included conducting user research, defining the structure and flow of the app, creating wireframes, prototyping, and designing a visually appealing and user-friendly interface.

Goal of the Project:

The goal was to design a convenient application tailored for gym visitors and trainers. The app aimed to streamline the process of booking group and individual sessions, tracking schedules, and monitoring availability in real time. It was intended to enhance the overall experience for users by offering a seamless way to interact with the gym's services and schedule.

Why was the project needed?

In today's fitness market, personalized approaches and digital solutions that make it easier to organize the training process are becoming increasingly popular. Many gyms continue to use outdated methods of signing up for training (notebooks, calls to the administrator), which:

• Creates additional burden on staff • Complicates the process for clients • Does not allow for quick visibility of the trainer's or group's workload

There was a need for a digital solution that would simplify gym schedule management and provide convenience for users.

Target audience

Who Their problems
🥊 Clients • There is no convenient way to view available workouts, trainer workload, and the number of participants in the group
• It is difficult to choose between group and individual classes due to the lack of information in one place
• There is no quick way to sign up for training without calling or visiting in person
🧘🏻‍♀️ Trainers • There is no centralized system to manage your own schedule and control the number of participants
• Lack of tools to inform clients about availability or changes in the schedule
👩🏻‍💼 Administration • It is difficult to manage the schedule, check the availability of trainers, and monitor attendance
• Time loss due to manual management of records
• The goal of the project is to solve these problems with a mobile application with a well-thought-out UX

My main activities

Use Design Thinking methodology and a double diamond-flow approach step by step.
